Life Story for Robert Brent Click

Robert Brent  Click
Robert Brent Click beloved father, grandpa and friend to many. Robert went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2013 at the age of 90. He was born in Coffeyville, Kansas, the only child of Guy and Evelyn Click. He spent the first part of his life in Seminole, Oklahoma where he graduated from Seminole High School in 1940 and then he attended the University of Oklahoma. Before he finished his college degree in Norman, he enlisted in the Army Air Force where he served his country with honor in the 8th Army Air Force as a Pilot of a B-17 “Flying Fortress” Bomber. His aircraft completed thirty-five heavy bombardment missions over enemy occupied Continental Europe in World War II.
Robert and Betty were married in Nowata, Oklahoma on June 16, 1951 and moved to Sapulpa in 1959 where he became an entrepreneur and had two oil businesses here locally, Top Tank Trucks and Double C Roustabouts. He is survived by his true love and wife of 61 beautiful years, Betty Click; one son, Larry Click and wife Galen of Midland, Texas; two daughters, Cinda Bailes and husband Kenneth of Stigler, Oklahoma and Kimberly Gardner and husband Josh of Jacksonville, Florida. Robert was also blessed with nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Service will be 1:00 PM Monday, January 21, 2013 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens.
