Life Story for Larry Lloyd Fulks

Larry Lloyd Fulks arrived on this earth on March 16, 1947. God decided that same date 66 years later, March 16, 2013, would be the appropriate time to introduce Larry to his new elaborate and permanent home in Heaven. Coincidently, God breathed life into Larry at St. John Hospital in Tulsa, and at the same location, called him home.
Larry graduated from Sapulpa High School in the class of 1965. He attended Northeastern State College in Tahlequah before being drafted into the service of his country on August 19, 1966. He served 2 years of active duty including a year as a combat medic in Viet Nam for The United States Army. He received his honorable discharge on August 15, 1972.
Larry worked for Du Pont in Tulsa before enrolling at Okmulgee Tech from which he received his apprentice electrician certificate. Most of Larry's working career was with The Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
Larry was a member of The First Christian Church of Sapulpa, of the Boy Scouts of America and of The Creek County Bow Hunter's Association. He loved to hunt and fish and to enjoy God's great outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Fox Fulks and is survived by his father Lloyd Fulks of Tulsa, his son, Robert Lloyd (Rob) Fulks of Tulsa and several cousins.
A memorial service will be held at The Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 10:00 AM.
In lieu of floral arrangements, the family requests donations to The First Christian Church of Sapulpa, Oklahoma Building Fund.
