Life Story for Debra Kay Bush (Bence)

Debra Kay Bush (Bence)
Debbie was born on July 30, 1957 in Tulsa Oklahoma to Carl and Kathy Bence. Her parents were only 18 years old at the time of her arrival but their love was strong and true. Soon after Debbie came Brenda, her sister and best friend. Randy was next, the one who loved to tease them. Finally came Mike, with the heart of gold. They became a loving and caring family. They were a tight knit bunch who always looked out for one another. Carl and Kathy always set an example for them. The other Bence children grew up, got married and started families of their own. Sadly, Debbie never had children. She never let that stop her happiness. She was though, an adoring aunt. She took all the nieces and nephews under her wing and nurtured them as if they were her own. All of her nieces and nephews looked on Debbie as a second mother. Then came Jim, Debbie’s knight in shining armor. He swept her off of her feet. She once again felt unconditional love, the love of a life partner. Along with Jim came a whole new family-with children and grandchildren. Debbie gave her new family all the same love that she gave her birth family; all of them, especially Jim. He in return, gave her his love in full measure.
Debbie loved and was loved by everyone whose lives she touched. She is now in Heaven, giving her love to all of her friends and family members who preceded her in death. Her love is so strong that it is still with those of us who remain behind. Debbie will always be with us.
If we pause for a moment we might hear Debbie speak to us. She is saying, “I want all of you to know that I am so happy now. Please don’t worry about me. I still love you and always will. I’ll be there for you everyday-forever.”
