Life Story for Darrell Lee Billings

Darrell Lee  Billings
Darrell Lee Billings passed away April 12, 2013 at home with his family by his side. He was born October 30, 1940 to Elden and Lillie Johnston Billings in Sapulpa, Okla. He served his country in Vietnam and was a proud veteran. Shortly after returning from war, he married Judy Hickman and had one daughter, Kristie Billings-Graham. He lived most of his life in Sapulpa.
Darrell was preceded in death by mother Lillie, father Elden, wife Judy, brother, Bobby Billings, brother, Charles Billings and sister Patsy Billings Brookshire.
He is survived by daughter, Kristie and husband Darrin Graham of the home, daughter, Debbie Billings Woods and husband Carl of Sapulpa, daughter, Karen Billings Lance and husband Carl of Sapulpa; son Rick and wife Linda Billings of Apple Valley, Calif. brother Sam Billings of Sapulpa; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Darrell’s witty and one-line humor will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
The family is ever grateful for the compassionate care given by Robin Tollett, Brian Enright and Amanda Jones for the continual care they gave over the last several months. Special thanks to CJ and the staff of Better Life Home Health and the unbelievable staff of Seasons Hospice.
Family visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Green Hill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2013 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel, Sapulpa.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Seasons Hospice.
