Sandra Marie  Nusbaum (Buckendorf)
Sandra Marie Buckendorf Nusbaum, 75, of Sand Springs, passed on April 15, 2013. She was the first daughter of Rudolph and Laura Buckendorf of Tulsa, OK, owners of the Buckendorf Meat Packing Company. A graduate of Holy Family School in Tulsa, she became a devoted wife and mother. Sandra worked at Southwest Porcelain Company for 35 years. Her responsibilities were many; designer, silk-screener, forklift operator and company nurse.

Sandra was a highly gifted skeet and trap shooter-an excellent he was an avid hunter, sportsman, fisherman, who loved nature and was a strict conservationist. “Bunk Marie” also enjoyed go-carting, motorcycles and was the consummate outdoor enthusiast.

Survivors include her son Keith Nusbaum, wife Sally of Bristow, OK; her daughter Rebecca Nusbaum of Wagner, OK; brother Mike Buckendorf Sr , wife Vickie of Tulsa, OK; 2 sisters, Carol Failla of Tulsa, OK and Debbie Buckendorf-Cole and husband Craig Cole of Brewster, NY; 2 grandchildren, Christopher and Hannah Nusbaum of Wagner, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents and older brother Rudy Buckendorf.

She was an inspiration to her family, friends and all who met her. Sandra will be missed more than words express. Donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Services will be 2:00 PM, April 19, 2013 at the Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Wednesday 5:00-9:00 PM and Thursday 9:00 AM-9:00 PM. The family has chosen to entrust the care of the service to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home. 9182242312 www.greenhillok.com
