Life Story for Mildred Christine Willyard (Dorris)

Mildred Christine  Willyard (Dorris)
Mildred Christine (Dorris) Willyard was born January 3, 1934 to Marvin &
Bertha Dorris in Warner, Oklahoma. She met Allen Willyard in 1944 at the
Blue Moon Cafe, she was eleven and he was fourteen. He saw her sitting
on a bar stool and told his buddy “I’m gonna marry that girl someday.”
They got married on December 24, 1950, they had three beautiful
daughters. Sharon, Paula & Michelle. Two grandchildren Justin & Krysta
Kirkpatrick and one great-grandaughter Isla Kirkpatrick and a second
great-grandchild on the way. She entered into rest peacefully on May 6,
2013 at Clarehouse in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Mildred is preceded in death by her parents, her older brother Bob
Dorris, her younger sister Ophelia. She is survived by her husband Allen
Willyard, daughters Sharon & Jim Kirkpatrick of Bixby,Ok., Paula
Willyard & Ilona Burton of Owasso, Ok., Michelle Willyard & Heather
Billings of Bixby, Ok., her grandson Justin & Summer Kirkpatrick of
Kansas City, Missouri, granddaughter Krysta & CJ Stevenson of Bixby,
Ok., great-granddaughter Isla Grace Kirkpatrick of Kansas City,
Missouri. Her brother Marvin & Wanda Dorris of Muskogee, Ok., sister
Irene McMinn of McMinnville, Tennessee, and baby sister Norma & Allen
Carlton of Lake Stevens, Washington.
