Mandy Lorraine Powell was born in Hulbert, Oklahoma on January 21, 1932 to James Mathew Kasinger and Jewel Aline Adams. Mandy was just one of 10 kids. Brothers; Tommy, Jack, Jimmy, Fred, Norman, Roy, Ulys. Sisters; Nora and Darlene. As a young woman Mandy loved to fish and pick pecans. Mandy also enjoyed working in her yard. She was Mrs. Slug Bug to her customers for over 35 years. She was happiest cooking huge meals for the family. She was an awesome cook! She married Dave Powell in 1966. Together they raised 6 children; Floyd Botts, Lucille Botts, DeWayne Botts, Rick Botts and Russell Powell.

Mandy was preceded in death by her parents James and Jewel Kasinger; husband Dave Powell; siblings Tommy, Jack, Jimmy, Fred, Norman and Nora; children Floyd Botts, and Lucille Botts. She is survived by siblings Roy, Ulys and Darlene; children DeWayne Botts and wife Mary, David Ray Botts, Rick Botts and wife Ronda and Russell Powell of the home. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren of whom she was very proud.

Momma (Mandy) was the “heart” of this family! In her spirit we intend to keep that going!
