Life Story for Opal Heath

REFLECTIONS OF LIFE
On April 30, 1938 a Bright-eyed Baby Girl was born to Jerry & Mamie Barnes in Beggs, OK.

She attended Lowrance School and continued her education at Booker T. Washington in Sapulpa, OK. At a young age, she joined Olentine Baptist Church. Later she joined God’s Tabernacle and later on in life she joined the Philadelphia 7th Day Adventist Church, where she was a Charter Member that helped to build the Church, and remained a Faithful Member until her Health started to fail.

Opal met Vernell Heath, the Love of her Life, and her High School Sweetheart. And they were Happily Married for 57 Years. They were Blessed with two Sons- Vernell Jr. and Larry.

Opal was a Master of many things. She was a Missionary, Crossguard, Teachers Aide, Basketball Coach and Girls Track Coach, She was also an Avon Representative. She was the most caring and helpful person you have ever met.

She also led a lot of Young Ladies to Christ.

She was proceeded in Death by her parents- Jerry & Mamie Barnes, Two Brothers- Loyous &Theodore Barnes; and Five Sisters- Geraldine Surrell, Verna Lee Grant, Viola Woodberry, Louise Abraham & Daisyetta Adams.

She leaves to Mourn her Homegoing:
Her Loving Husband: Vernell Heath, Sr.
Two Sons: Vernell Heath, Jr. & Larry (Joyce) Heath
One Granddaughter: Tiffany Heath & Three
Grandsons: Kiley Pankey, Larry Marshall & Jacob Heath
One Great-Grandson: Darus Jackson, Jr.
Two Sisters: Mayetta Bruner & Laverne Montgomery
Two Brothers: Jerry Jr. (Mayetta) Barnes & Lawrence Barnes
One Brother In-Law: Sherman (Marie) Heath

She also leaves to mourn, Her Loving and Wonderful
Caregiver of 9 years - Joyce Colbert.

And a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Relatives.
