Fred R. Woods, Jr. was born in Keystone, Oklahoma on February 28, 1928 to parents Fred Woods, Sr. and Maude (Murell) Woods. He passed from this life on June 12, 2013 in Hartshorne, Oklahoma. Fred and wife, Ruby Faye Woods, were blessed with four children.
After 18 years with Bartlett Collins Glass Company, Fred retired in 1988. Fred enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was well known for his carpentry and building skills and he loved his dogs.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Woods, Sr. and Maude Woods. He is survived by his wife Ruby Faye Woods, his children; Paul Woods and wife Shirley, Nina and husband Truman Rogers, Jr., Tommy Woods and wife Camille, Marsha and husband Elmo Jones, Jr.; nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
