Evelyn M. Khoury, 94, went to her Lord and Savior on June 25, 2013. She was born in Lebanon, Indiana to Howard Lapham and Rosa Reinking. She was the youngest of her parent’s six children. She was preceded in death by her husband, James G. Khoury, her parents, three brothers, two sisters, and son Robert Harbaugh.

She is survived by her children; daughter Shirley A. Mitchell of Sandpoint, Idaho; son James R. Khoury and wife Roxanna of Tulsa, Oklahoma; son John R. Khoury and wife Betty of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.

In her younger years she worked for the Indianapolis Life Insurance Company. In later years she worked in various retail establishments. Evelyn was a great wife; homemaker; and Mom to all of her children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; always loving, supportive, and encouraging. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, picture puzzles, playing Mexican Train, decorating her home and working in her garden. Evelyn was the last of The Greatest Generation of her family, and she will be missed by all.

Funeral Services will be held at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 and Visitation will be from 12:00 – 9:00 pm on Monday, July 1st.
