Life Story for Doris Lynell Dorn (Johnson)

Doris Lynell Dorn was born on January 08, 1935 to Ulysses and Irene Johnson in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
Doris grew up in Sapulpa and graduated from the Booker T Washington High School. In her professional life, she worked for Shell Oil Company and later worked until retirement at Sun Oil Company. Her life was filled with cooking, shopping, and sharing photos. She found great pleasure in blessing others with delicious foods and baked goods. On any given day, one could find Doris spending countless hours on the phone with loved ones and friends all over the country. She was a jokester and the queen of pranks who also possessed an infectious laugh.
She was preceded in the death by her parents; her three brothers, Floyd, Charles and Morris; one sister, Bernice; and one grandson, Rodgrick. She leaves to cherish her memory the following: a loving and caring daughter and son, Winnifred Montgomery of Oklahoma City, and Alan Dorn (Jennifer) of Dumfries, VA; five grandchildren whom she adored, Anissia Powdrill Montgomery of Oklahoma City; Dorian Montgomery of Tulsa; Demarcus Eckford of Hollywood, California; Christian and Jeremiah Dorn of Dumfries, VA; ten great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; five siblings, Cloyes Johnson (Delores) of San Diego, Calif.; Betty Jean Newton of Sapulpa; Janet Jones (Harvey) Tulsa; James Johnson (Barbara) Sand Springs; Clifford Johnson (Ola) Tulsa; a special cousin Lavern McIntosh of Los Angeles, CA; and a host of nieces and nephews.
