Lory Lee Caves was born October 14, 1963 in Lynwood, California to Lory “Fannie” Lee Giacomo and John Raymond Caves. She grew up in Sapulpa, Oklahoma but visited her family in California several times. Lory graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1981. She also attended OJC and received a degree in Paralegal. Lory was employed at Wal-Mart for twenty-three and a half years. Lory was a follower of the Baptist Faith. She was also involved in the Sapulpa Community Theatre and in several plays.
Lory passed away Friday, September 6, 2013 at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in Death by both sets of grandparents; Ed and Lucy Caves, and Jake and Winnie Buchanan. She leaves behind her mother, Fannie Giacomo; father, John Caves; sister, Donna Carroll and husband, Jackie; her nephews Adam Underwood and Scott Carroll; niece, Stacie Carroll and son Ryan. She also leaves behind her many aunts and uncles and their families who loved her and helped out tremendously.
Service will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Green Hill Memorial Gardens with the reverend Bill Oldham officiating. Casket bearers will include Kevin King, Danny Buchanan, Eddie Buchanan, Jackie Carroll, Scott Carroll and Bradley Wright. Honorary bearers will be Raymond Buchanan, Marvin Blackwell, Chris Blackwell, Bryan Wright, Sam Wright, and Adam Underwood.
