Life Story for Ira Stout

Ira Lewis Stout, 73, of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, September 30, 2013.
A celebration of life service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, October 5 at Garden Heights Free Will Baptist Church, 3415 Summit Blvd, Sand Springs, OK. Reverends Doyle Baker and Glen Hood will officiate. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery in Sapulpa, OK.

Ira was born September 22, 1940 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Orvil and Zetta Stout. He graduated from Sapulpa High School in 1958, having lettered in football and wrestling. In July 1958, he married the love of his life Glenda Gail Lucas. Ira served in the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1960, and was a veteran of the Cuban Missile Crisis. Ira was employed by the Rainbo Baking Company, having occupied both route sales and supervisory positions, retiring in 2001. He was an avid fisherman, also enjoying reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.

Ira is survived by his wife, Glenda Stout of Sapulpa; son, Rex David Stout and his wife Lynn of Edmond, OK; daughter Randa Gail Fielden and her husband Roger of Sand Springs, OK; grandchildren Gail Williams, Sarah Broge, Tommy Broge, Chase Fielden, Brittany Fielden and Seth Fielden; great-grandchild Angel Williams; mother Zetta Stout of Ponca City, OK; brother Jim Stout of Jay, OK; sister Ruth Scott of Wichita, KS; and sister Pat Tuttle of Sapulpa, OK. His infant son, Ricky Lewis Stout; father, Orvil Stout, and his brother Mike Stout preceded him in death.
