Life Story for Carol Dawn Severs (Thurston)
Carol Severs was born April 30, 1945 to Marie and Joseph Thurston. She was one of twelve brothers and sisters. Carol passed away on March 5, 2014 at the age of 68.
As a young mother, Carol loved to spoil her four children. She continued that when she became a grandmother of eleven and great-grandmother of six. She had a passion for Elvis Presley, the Dallas Cowboys and our Lord Jesus Christ. She loved every family event she could host or attend. She was always quick to help when she saw a need.
Carol is survived by her sons Danny and his wife Andrea; Dennis and his wife Lynn; Lannie and her daughter Missy and her husband Robert; brothers Jimmy Dale; and Melvin; along with grandchildren Josh; Brad; Curtis; Heather; Alicia; Courtney; Justin; Austin; Derek; Taylor; Tyler and great-grandchildren Ashlynn; Korbyn; Alicynn; Braylon; Braytan; and one on the way!
