Life Story for Gertrude May Stone (Watkins)

Gertrude “Trudy” Stone passed away on Friday March 7, 2014 in Tulsa. Trudy is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Minerva Watkins; son, Mark Bowman; daughter, Janie Bowsher; and grandson, Justin Lewis. Trudy is survived by her husband, Stephen Stone; brother, Sam Watkins, Jr.; son James Bowman; daughter, Cindy Lewis; grandson, Hunter Bowman; granddaughter, Anna Hardy; and great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Lewis.

Stephen and Trudy were married for 32 years, they resided in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Trudy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved to work with her hands whether it be sewing, flower arranging, knitting, jewelry making or bringing joy and laughter to anyone around her.
