Life Story for
Ashley Jaquis Woodberry
Reflections of Her Life
On January 9, 1992, a beautiful baby girl was born to Christella Woodberry and Richard White. She was named Ashley Jaquis Woodberry; affectionately known as “Ash”.
Ashley attended Sapulpa and Sand Springs Public Schools. She began working at Macy's, but her passion for fashion led her to enroll in Clary Sage College, to pursue a career as a make-up artist.
Ashley had a zest for life, and a love for her family and friends. Although small in stature, her voice would certainly command your attention. As second to the oldest of her siblings, Ashley always retained a “take charge” demeanor. She never met a stranger. She would always greet you with a warm smile, and combined with her unique sense of humor, Ash would leave you with a memorable impression.
Ashley accepted Christ at an early age, attending church under the leadership of the late Rev. Erwin Ruth. After becoming a mother to her pride and joy, Summer Rayne, and after witnessing Summer be christened by Pastor Gordon, Ashley confessed that she wanted to be a new creature in Christ. She was then baptized on December 16, 2012. Ashley was a faithful member of the choir, and participated in various activities in the church.
She was preceded in death by her baby brother A’Mon Checotah, on August 23, 2013.
On Saturday, March 8, 2013 God dispatched his angels to bring his beautiful child home.
