Life Story for Stacy Lynn Swint

Stacy Lynn Swint was born on January 20, 1982 to Floyd and Linda Swint. She was a great protector and big sister to Amy and Sarah. She left this world too soon on June 3, 2014 surrounded by family and loved ones. Heaven gained a beautiful soul.

She graduated from Sapulpa High School in 2000 and from Langston University in 2007 with a psychology degree.

All who were touched by Stacy benefited from her kindness and generosity, sometimes becoming the object of her sarcastic wit. Stacy lit up every room she entered with her beautiful smile, laugh, and eyes that could melt the coldest heart. Her friends knew that if they were a friend of hers, they were a friend for life. Her two favorite guys were Jon Fields and Sampson, or was it Sampson and Jon?

She is survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; her longtime boyfriend, Jon Fields; her beloved Shih Tzu, Sampson; and her ninety-one-year-old grandmother, Jewell Kirby of Sapulpa, who loved her very much.

Her death was sudden and unexpected. Let this serve as a reminder: life is too short, live your dreams, and tell your loved ones that you love them.

Join us to celebrate Stacy’s life at Green Hills Funeral Home on Friday, June 6th at 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, leave a tip for your bartender/server. Tell them it’s from Stacy.

“She was beautiful, but not like those girls in the magazines. She was beautiful, for the way she thought. She was beautiful, for the sparkle in her eyes when she talked about something she loved. She was beautiful, for her ability to make other people smile, even if she was sad. No, she wasn't beautiful for something as temporary as her looks. She was beautiful, deep down to her soul. She is beautiful.”
