Gary Wayne  Halstead
Gary Wayne Halstead was born to Galen Blake and Dorothy Mae Halstead on April 2, 1942, in Corpus Christi, Texas. At an early age, Gary and his family moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma and in 1959 he joined the Marines. In 1963, he married Donna Faye Phillps, and they had two children, Gary Wayne Halstead, Jr. and Tina Marie Halstead White. Gary retired working in the oil field industry for Baker Hughes. He enjoyed raising cattle and horses, golfing, collecting coins, listening to music, supervising gardening activities, watching wildlife from his patio, and most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Donna, his son; Gary and his wife Christa; and his daughter Tina; his sisters; Deanna Ross and Alice Humphrey; 6 grandchildren, Kristen Leigh Carlson, Lauren Nicole Lamproe and husband Justin, Jessica Taylor White, Rhett Hudson Halstead, Rhegan Leigh Ann Halstead, and Preston Garhett Halstead, and 1 great- grandchild, Kinzley Marie Carlson, and several nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts.
