Paul Lewis Selsor “Louie”, of Kiefer, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday evening, September 14th 2014, surrounded by friends and family.
The funeral service will be held Friday, September 19th at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church in Sapulpa located at 220 E. Lee. Sr. Minister Tim Dotson will be officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday through Thursday at Green Hill Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Sapulpa. Paul was born in San Fernando, California on September 9th, 1947. He graduated from Kiefer High School in 1965 and joined the United States Air Force shortly thereafter and was stationed in Libya during the Vietnam War.
Paul was married to his high school sweetheart, Connie Whitchurch, on September 5th, 1967. They were married for thirty-four years.
Paul worked many trades through the years. Most would remember him at Jenks Feed, Kiefer Pump and Supply, and Selsor Oilfield Supply. He enjoyed many activities including bowling with his friends and family, bass fishing, and golfing. He enjoyed watching anything sports related on TV and loved to watch his grandkids play ball. Paul enjoyed catfishing, fishing below the dam with family and friends, talking to all his customers at the feed store, and sitting at the pump shop telling stories.
Paul is survived by his children; John P Selsor and his wife Kerri, Paula J Ford and her husband Tommy, Kelli J Burch and her husband Jimmy. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Lauren, Haley, John Jr., Tyler, Ashlynn, Cole, Austin, Garon, and Conner, his brothers; Bill Selsor and his wife Jan, Bob Selsor and his wife Freida, Rick Selsor and his wife Debbie, and his sister, Carole Cruikshank and her husband Bill. In addition to his immediate family, he is survived by other close family and friends.
Paul is preceded in death by his wife, Connie, his parents Alfred and Daphne ”Blondie”, His uncles, John L Selsor and Harry “Bud” Selsor.
Honorary Pall Bearers include, John Selsor, Tommy Ford, Eddie Whitchurch, David Boyd, Andy Avant and Brad Stockstill.
