Life Story for Betty Yvonne Dedmon (Kilpatrick)

Betty Yvonne Dubois was born March 12, 1939 in Collins, Arkansas to James Doyle and Betty Lucille Arnold Kilpatrick. She departed this life on Sunday, December 9, 2012 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma.
She attended school in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. She was married to Alvin Dubois in 1956 and moved many times during Alvin’s military career. They moved to Oklahoma in 1976 and she has lived here since that time.
Betty worked as a cook, cleaned houses, and drove school buses during her working years. She retired from a local restaurant in 2000. She has lived the past 9 years with her son, Robert and daughter-in-law, Debbie in Kellyville. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening until her health began to fail.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Terry Wayne and one brother, Eugene Kilpatrick. Betty is survived by her sons; Alvin Michael, James Robert, Johnny Doyle and Roger Dale DuBois, one daughter; Dianna Lynn DuBois, one brother; Randy Kilpatrick of Oregon, five sisters; Delaine McCaslin of Oklahoma, Doylene Clark of Arizona, Brenda Gurule’ of Arizona, Mary Scroth of Tennessee, and Carolyn Yarber of Tennessee, stepmother; Maxine Kilpatrick of Oregon, stepfather; Larry Hafeman of California, 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
