Life Story for Mary Louise Mobley

Mary Vann was born March 8, 1948 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Richard and Ethel Vann. She was the eldest of seven children; Jerry Vann, Oleta Page, Beverly Holstein, Richard Vann, Beth Starr, and Sam Vann. She spent her youth in West Texas, graduating from Ector High School, Class of 1966.
After attending Odessa College for one year on a chemistry scholarship, she moved to Sapulpa, Oklahoma and began working at Bartlett Memorial Hospital as a lab technician. She married Frankie Mobley on May 17, 1968. She was a housewife and mother of three children. Jennifer Ann Mobley was born January 21, 1971, Emilee Jayne Mobley was born October 8, 1976, and James Alan Mobley was born January 7, 1992. Mary was a devoted mother, continuously engaged in multiple extracurricular activities with each of her children including football, softball, basketball, 4-H, crafts, and teacher’s assistant just to name a few. Other activities that Mary enjoyed were scrapbooking, sewing, crocheting and swimming. She was also very involved in her church.

Mary was always concerned with the well-being of others. She was very charitable, and was always helping people. She definitely had a heart of gold.
Preceding Mary in death were her parents Richard and Ethel Vann, her parents-in-law James and Refa Mobley, and her daughter Jennifer Ann Mobley. She is survived by her husband Frankie, her children Emilee Mize and husband Brandon and son James Mobley along with a multitude of friends and family members.

She will be greatly missed and will remain in our hearts forever.
