Life Story for Robert Dale Howard

Bob, a resident of Tulsa, OK, was born in Paul’s Valley, OK on April 2, 1941. He passed away at the age of 72 on May 4, 2013 at 8:45 P.M. Bob was taken from us as a result of his ongoing illness with diabetes and from his stubborn headedness.

If there was a buck to be made to supplement his income he was all in…never started with a few of anything like horses, ice cream trucks or raising toy Chihuahuas. He never knew how to start out small and expand as his projects grew. Adventure was what he was all about. He loved being with his family, going fishing, camping, yard selling, eating out and warming up a stool at the local casino while playing black jack.

Bob worked for Creek County Ambulance Service in Sapulpa from the summer of 1983 until 1987. He started his own ambulance service, Elite, in Coweta, OK and retired in December 1992.

Bob was survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Patty Howard; three daughters Crystal and Ellis Canida, Veronica and Chris Kelly, and DeAnna Gregory; his brothers and sisters Lee and Jamie Howard, Don and Dawn Howard, Fay Sterling, Elvina and David Holloway; son-in-law Scott Brown; grandchildren Sarah, Scotty, Bobby, William, Kandace, Becca, Shelby and 9 great-grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Bud and Lois Howard, his daughter Robin Ann Brown, his brother Johnny Howard, his sister Darlene Sterling and brothers-in-law Bill Sterling and Jerry Hickman.

He will be loved and missed by all.
