Life Story for Phyllis Ann Moore (Gleason)

Phyllis Ann  Moore (Gleason)
Phyllis Ann Moore was born January 7th, 1961 in Independence, Missouri to Betty Kerr. She was given for adoption at birth to Walter and Jane Gleason of Baxter Springs, Kansas. Walter and Jane were loving and caring parents. Phyllis attended school in Columbus, Kansas and graduated from High School at Commerce, Oklahoma. Phyllis enjoyed playing piano and organ at the Cardin Baptist Church in Cardin, Oklahoma. Phyllis attended college at NEO-AM in Miami Oklahoma and Missouri Southern in Joplin Missouri. Phyllis married Michael Moore on May 15th, 1982 at the Cardin Baptist Church. Their daughter, Amber Moore was born January 23rd, 1984. Phyllis has been a homemaker, teacher for in-home-schooling for Amber, devoted Mother and Wife and member of the Southeast Baptist Church in Miami, Oklahoma.
God called her home on May 26th, 2013. She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Jane Gleason (Miami, OK), mother Betty Kerr Gribble (Independence, MO), father Dale Titus (Blue Springs, MO), brother Ronnie Munson (serving in Vietnam), sister Carol Abbey (Streator, IL), and sister Dorothy Atchley (Streator, IL). Phyllis is survived by husband Michael Moore (Glenpool, OK), daughter Amber Moore (Glenpool, OK), stepdaughter Jennifer and Mike Penner (Mustang, OK), grandchildren Jordan, Ella and Evan Bruce (Mustang, OK), sister Pam and Dave Harrington (Independence, MO), sister Verna Howell (Gardner, KS), brother Leon and Myra Kerr (Kansas City, MO), brother Daryl and Debbie Kerr (Coweta, OK), brother Barry Gribble (Independence, MO), sister Stephanie and John Hilton (Shawnee, KS), sister Dana and Ron Withall (Carlsbad, CA), father’s companion Kristy Negrete (Blue Springs, MO) and many nieces, nephews, in-laws and friends.
Phyllis has blessed so many with her humor, her love, her caring, her kindness and her understanding. She will be greatly missed and remembered. I can only imagine how pleased our Lord is with Phyllis.
