Life Story for Beulah Louise "Billie" Miller (Noe)

Beulah Louise "Billie" Miller (Noe)
Beulah “Billie” Louise Miller was born on July 23, 1928 in Coweta, Oklahoma. She was the second of 10 children born to Helen Fritz-Noe and Earl Noe. Billie was 17 years old when John Raymond Miller asked her if she would raise pigs and chickens with him. She said “yes” and they were married on November 21, 1945.

Billie helped John run a dairy farm and work in the hay fields near Depew, Oklahoma while raising 3 children, John Richard Miller, Danny Joe Miller and Sharon Gail Miller-Smith.

Later while living in Shamrock, Oklahoma, her greatest joy was spending time with her family and catering to her 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Billie never grew tired of taking walks through the woods with them, no matter how many times they made her cross the creek. She was always ready to go exploring. She enjoyed spending time cooking with them. Paying no attention to how messy they were. She would put each of them to work on a different project baking cookies, pies or cakes or letting them create their own recipe. She listened to their tall tales and laughed at their mischief, often covering for them so that they wouldn’t get into trouble from their parents.
Billie was preceded in death by her mother, father, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and her son, Danny Joe Miller.
