Life Story for Jocey V. Fahnholz (Mills)
Jocey (Josie) Verna Fahnholz was born on January 4, 1932 to Jack and Zora Mills in Pindall, Arkansas. She went to be with our Lord on February 25, 2014. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Zora Mills; her husband John Fahnholz; two brothers; one sister; daughter, Rita Harrold; son August Fahnholz; and granddaughter Jennifer Harrold. She is survived by daughter Iva Atkins and husband Ronald Atkins of Sapulpa; four sisters, Wilma; Norma; Betty Lou; and Joann; son-in-law Gaylon Harrold of Sapulpa; grandchildren Patsy Hardesty; Jeremy and Cora Atkins; Timothy Atkins and Cadence Cooper; Ronald Atkins; Amanda Fahnholz; Hesper Fahnholz; Andrea Harrold; Steven and Jennifer Harrold; Jason Harrold and Michael Harrold; great-grandchildren Iva Jo; Joseph; Fredrick; Kylie; Allison; Eric; Olivia; Travis; Carson; Jayden; and step-great-grandchildren Tristan; Ethan; Sam; Ben; John; Emily; Clinton; and other numerous relatives.
Jocey (Josie) was a very loving, kind person with a big heart. She loved to crochet, embroidery, quilt and enjoyed many other crafts. She enjoyed gardening and canning her vegetables. She always had beautiful flower beds. She loved to go fishing, catching the fish and especially crappie and catfish. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to keep and play with all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was liked and loved by all.
Service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Green Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Friday, February 28, 2014 from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm. The family has chosen to entrust the care of the service to the directors at Green Hill Funeral Home in Sapulpa. 9182242312 www.greenhillok.com
