Jimmy  Lew  Evans
Jimmy L. Evans, Sr. was born January 25, 1941 and raised in Kiefer, Okla. He passed from this life on May 10, 2014, after a long fought battle with cancer.

Retired welder after 38 years of service, from Unit Rig/Terex Mining. Lew was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing with his family and friends and beloved bird dogs. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and could often be found at their softball, baseball & basketball games. He enjoyed watching OU & Thunder. He was always helping others no matter the need.

Lew was preceded in death by parents Sol and Rosie Evans; brothers Ralph and William Evans; and sister Dorothy Adams. Lew is survived by his loving wife Charlotte of 24 years; sister Virginia Graham of Sapulpa; brothers Ed Evans of Tahlequah and Jerry H. Evans of Kiefer. Mother of his children Shiry Evans; #1 daughter Teresa and husband Daryl Rector of Sapulpa; #2 daughter Tracy and husband Jack Stafford of Depew; Only son Jimmy Jr. and wife Rhonda Evans of Sand Springs; #3 daughter Tammy and husband Brian Wattenbarger of Sand Springs; stepdaughters Cheryl Evans; and Brenda Kay Hay both of Oilton. He had 16 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. Special friends: Jack and Helen Anson, Julio and Martha Morales and J.E. Williams and family.
