Clyde James (C.J.) Haney was born on October 29, 1931, in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to Claud and Dora Haney. C.J. and wife Gracie resided in Kellyville until his death May 17, 2014.

C.J. served his country by serving in the Army Air Force for 20 years as an airplane mechanic. Later he worked as a plumber with his father.

C.J. was preceded in death by his mother Dora Haney; his father Claud Haney; his daughter Jewel Ann Haney; and his brother Charles Haney. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Gracie Haney; his daughter Sylvia Harper and husband Andy of Disney, OK; step-children Roy Petitt of Sand Springs; Shirley Holmes of Sapulpa; Ronnie and wife Linda Petitt of Sapulpa; Robert and wife June Petitt of Mounds; Brenda and husband Tommy Manning of Sapulpa; Lillie Troxell of Sapulpa; and Mary and husband Joe Buthod of Kellyville. C.J. loved to travel with Gracie. They had many great trips in their motor coach, in which many memories were made. He also enjoyed gardening. His health made that difficult in later years, and he was no longer able to grow his veggies. C.J. also loved to go on fishing trips and be out on the lake in the boat.

C.J. was widely known for his love, faith and dedication to the Lord. He will greatly missed by all who knew him, but we are assured he is at home in the presence of our Lord.
