Growing up
I have literally known L.O. my entire life. . . . I grew up with his boys and spent so much time in his home. He always made me and my brother Jess feel loved like we were a part of his family. He taught us about God in Sunday school and later in Church and also took us on many fun CYF adventures. When the time came in my life to accept the Lord as my savior, L.O. was the one to baptize me. L.O. was a wonderful dear friend to my Granny Jo Pyle. He was always there for her during her life . . . and then helped my entire family when it was time to say Goodbye to her. My husband Kirk and I are very happy to say that just a few months ago on September 14, 2013 he was the one to marry us and bless our lives together in that same little church that I grew up in and that L.O. held so dear to his heart. It is so sad to say goodbye to such a good, kind and loving man. I know he is resting easy in heaven now where he can watch over his family and all of us. I feel certain that Granny Pyle was waiting with a smile to greet her old friend, but we will indeed miss him here.
